Dr. Jennifer Weiss is an organizational development consultant and executive coach dedicated to optimizing talent and leadership in organizations. She specializes in executive assessment, selection, development, coaching, team building and retreat facilitation, and HR analytics and architecture.
As a partner and executive consultant at HR Alignment Consulting, her work combines the rigor of assessment methodology and up-to-date knowledge of leadership theory and research with strengths in compassion, authenticity, objectivity, and challenge. Dr. Weiss serves clients across a wide array of industries and also provides volunteer consulting services for select non-profit groups. With extensive experience in leader and team assessment and coaching as well as serving as a strategic advisor and thought-partner to business leaders, Dr. Weiss is passionate about strengthening business results and organizational health through the cultivation of human capital.
Dr. Weiss received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in I/O Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology where her research focused on bias and fairness issues in selection assessment. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Society for Human Resources Management.
Along with helping clients be and do better, she is dedicated to her own continual growth and development. She believes I/O psychologists must continue to think bigger and stretch themselves and each other to continually increase their impact and future relevance. In this spirit, she founded Shaken & Stirred, an event designed to celebrate those who are pushing the boundaries of I/O and challenge the rest of us to do the same.
